i saw a kid drown today at madison beach, they pulled him up from the bottom and tried to revive him....it didnt work, i saw paramedics use teh defibrulaters(sp?) but that did nt work either, and i saw his friends walk away crying. i dont know what to say.

that's what happens when you mix hipsters and water and alcohol. was it really really sudden?

it wasnt a hipster, it was a kid (16?) just swimming around, i didnt see anyione doing anything stupid, the life gaurds were out, it was just a freak accident...yeah it was sudden, one minute everyone playing the next people screaming and calling 911....they found him on the bottom and dont know how long he was down there, they think he hit his head on the platform when he came up from a dive or soemthing and knocked himself out...

this is what happens when the buddy system fails. I always thought that shit was lame as a child...but man how many times in my life would i have been safer or made better choices had I been applying the buddy system. Several. My stomach sunk. I can't imagine witnessing that. That could have been you when you hit yer nose a year back...and that would have sucked. I feel like I want to get all deep and shit...but you all know where I would go.
